HYFAX EXTENDER WHEEL SPACER KIT-pro action

Our Hyfax Extender Wheel Spacer Kit for the Pro-Action suspension is designed to greatly increase hyfax life in all conditions. We've logged over 2000 miles in a season on our RX-1 with  virtually no hyfax wear. When installing the kit it lowers the stock six idler wheels 2½ millimeters (same as a 5 millimeter oversize wheel), increasing the  clearance between the track and hyfax, greatly reducing hyfax wear. By using the factory wheels durability is retained, no need to worry about some cheap after-market wheels (that the bearings can't be changed on) failing! The kit consist of 4 specially designed offset wheel spacers (for the 4 front outer idler wheels), and rear cross shaft (rear center idlers), the spacers and shaft are specially designed to lock in place, keeping the wheels in their offset (lowered) position. Kit fits all ’98 & newer liquid cooled models models ('03 & '04 RX-1, Warrior, '05 Rage, Viper, SRX, SX-R, SX, V Max, etc.).

HYFAX EXTENDER WHEEL SPACER KIT - mono shock

Because of the great success of our Hyfax Extender Wheel Spacer Kit for the Pro-Action Plus suspension we've developed a kit for the Mono Shock suspension. The Yamaha chassis doesn’t have heat exchangers above the guide clips of the track to drip water, because of this hyfax wear is normally greater than other brands. We tested larger wheels last season, but because of the increased load of the one mounting point of the standard wheel block the rails started cracking. This lead us to develop a spacer kit to move down the stock wheels 2 ½ millimeters (same a 5 millimeter oversize wheel) for greatly improved hyfax life. To get the reliability needed, the spacer uses the stock mounting point, and also an extra mounting point lower on the rail for increased strength. The kit comes with 6 spacers to move down the stock wheels, along with mounting hardware. Four holes must be drilled for mounting, the spacer acts a template for locating the mounting hole. Fits all Apex, '06 Vector (w/reverse), Attak, ’05 RX-1, & ’06 Rage.

SMALL WHEEL KIT

This wheel kit is designed to mount specifically to the outside of the rail at the bend, where it is most effective in reducing hyfax wear. Kit comes complete with everything needed for easy installation, including a specially designed wheel block that also acts a marking template, and factory Yamaha wheels. Kit fits ’96 XT and all ’97 and newer models w/Pro Action Plus rear suspension, including all Vmax models (XT, XTC, SX(-R) etc.), SRX, Viper, RX-1, Warrior, Vector, Rage and Phazer 500, plus all Pro-Active and Mono Shock suspensions (Vector, Apex, Attak, etc.).

4TH REAR WHEEL KIT

The 4^th Rear Wheel Kit places an extra wheel between the drive lugs of the track, helping to keep the track in line, this is especially important for hard cornering with a studded track, reducing the chances of chewing up your hyfax or derailing. P-S105 fits all 98 & newer models using Pro-Action suspension including all SX, SRX, Vmax, Warrior, Viper, Venom, and ’03-’05 RX-1. P-S105A fits all Pro-Active, and Mono Shock suspensions.

PRO-ACTION REAR SUSPENSION BUSHING KIT

This kit consists of all the plastic bushings for the Pro Action Plus suspension (except relay rod bushings). Kit includes all necessary plastic bushing for all arms, shock (s), and control rods. Kit P-K111 fits all models ’97 through ’03 with both aluminum rear shocks including SX, SRX, Viper, & XTC, kit P-K112 fits all models with one or two steel bodied rear shocks including Vmax (XT, Deluxe), ’03-’04 RX-1, Warrior, '05 Rage, Venom, Phazer 500, & Viper S.

SX, SRX REAR LONG TRAVEL SUSPENSION KIT

Greatly improve the ride of your sled without affecting the handling! We take your rear shocks, install new shafts, re-valve them, and change the center shock spring. When we’re done you have the same amount of rear travel as the SX-R & SXViper. The major difference is this kit is designed with more “set-in” on the rear, keeping the rear ride height at nearly stock level when sitting on the sled. The increased travel allows us to keep the spring rates lower, while the longer travel gives the shocks more time to react. This combination gives you a better (plusher) slow speed ride, improves the ability to go through the bumps at higher speed, and increases weight transfer. Send us both of your rear shocks and we install new factory parts. We send them back with all of the necessary parts and instructions for easy installation. Specify year, model, rider weight, and riding style when sending shocks in. After-market control rods are not necessary when installing this kit.
